It's enough to drive you computer madness. I'm in the habit of copying my blog post or my comment before I hit the button. That way I can paste it from the clipboard when I get reloaded. I always warn my students to save whenever they get to the point that they wouldn't want to have to recreate what they'd done. I have a "horrible warning" story from a teacher I worked with who had spent over an hour working on exam when a student hit the power switch on the wall for the computers in the classroom.
