I recently was sent this video from a friend and found it to be very interesting. I thought it would be a great tool to use during a staff presentation, especially with the teachers who are afraid of the fast paced technology. It is worth watching and only reenforces what we already know. Here is the website, worth the time. http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/video/shifthappens

I liked this video also Kim. Karl Fisch has some very interesting things to say. So much to see. So much to read…
I had the opportunity to watch the video you mentioned here, and have to agree that it may be worth showing those skeptics that we all know. The ones that are always saying they are too old to learn that stuff – might make them see that technology is is the way of the world.
It was a very interesting video…it really helps with the apprehension towards technology. I find that there are two groups of teachers at our school, one group that embraces technology and see what it can do to enhance education and another group that avoids it because they don’t understand it. This video could help alleviate some of the apprhension….I hope.
Kim, I took the time to watch this video. I definitely think it would be a good watch for those teachers that think they are too old to learn this stuff. Do you think it might make them realize they have no choice, since it is the way of the world?
As the tech guy for PCI this year has seemed to be the year for video. I have put some links from my del.icio.us tagging on video on my blog if you are interested. I will also be creating a Jing video of how to convert a YouTube Video to AVI and then to DVD.
Wow, is that ever thought-provoking. I think I will show that to my students tomorrow! Thanks.
I couldn’t get the link in your post to work. Could you check it out?
Very pleased to see oakvilleboy offering to develop a Jing on converting video formats.
Kimberly… How would a person add add this a Flicker Photo or a reasoanble facsimile thereof to his blog site?
