I have come to realize that the only way to learn your way around the web and find out how to use many of the tools is to play with them and search around yourself. I often wonder why kids spend so much time on the computer and have come to realize that they are in fact, teaching themselves the technology! As Glen said the youth of today is way ahead of us in technology use and we need to catch up.

Nice look here! It is interesting how focused kids can be when they are playing online games or using web tools. They really do teach themselves. What a great lifetime habit to get into. We have to be careful that we don’t beat it out of them.

Yes, students are wired differently. By incorporating all these wonderful tools we would be speaking their language.
